Dear John,
I want to thank you for the wonderful Textile Tour to China. Everything went smoothly. The hotels were good, the food outstanding and the tour guides looked after us very well. The drivers did exceptionally well considering the traffic in the cities. There was harmony among the group of ladies, and you were very helpful and a lot of fun, thank you. The trip was value and it would be very nice to do another similar trip. We saw so much, it was quite mind boggling. The length of time was just right. Once again, thank you for a delightful trip. Warm regards, Jackie Livingstone
Dear Allan,
I spoke to David on my return to advise you that all went well with the trip and to thank you for allowing me to lead the trip. Everything seemed to go very well and hopefully, you've received some good feedback from the others. The trip was well-organised and run, both in Korea and Japan. Accommodation and food were great, although not all the ladies enjoyed Asian food. Cindy, our tour guide, in particular, tried to arrange a mix of Asian and Western style food, which was appreciated. Thanks again. My regards to both you and David. Tricia Sewell
Dear Alan,
Please thank your staff for organising the DuQuilters' Adventure tour to Japan in November, 2009. The trip was most enjoyable and successful, due mostly, to the expertise of the guide, Tony Heng. I would like you to know that he was friendly, businesslike, very knowledgeable and efficient in ensuring that the tour ran smoothly each day. He was considerate of the ladies, helpful in any way he could be, and his care was appreciated by all of us. Tony has been guiding tours in Japan for 22 years and his knowledge and language skills are excellent. His sense of humour was appreciated by us all and we enjoyed many happy and humorous moments. He was adaptable and prepared to change arrangements in order to ensure the smooth running of the tour. Knowing that Sunday is a particularly busy day for visiting temples in Japan, he changed the visit to Kiyomizudera in Kyoto in Kyoto to Monday, thus making the visit much more pleasant for everyone, including the bus driver. Tony also accepted the suggestion from me that we could visit Nishijin Textile Centre which was not on the itinerary, but I knew that the ladies would appreciate the visit to see the Kimono Parade and silk weaving and associated crafts. Tony spent time choosing appropriate restaurants to provide a variety of experiences for the group. As Tour Hostess, I really appreciated his friendly efficiency and we worked well together. I hope that this information will be shared with your tour organisers in Japan.
Yours sincerely, Lynn Hewitt
Dear Allan,
I would like to express my thoughts on the tour to USA in April, 2010. As I had previously travelled with your company to Japan in 2008 on the quilt tour there I had great expectations for this one. I was not disappointed. I must say the Guides, Drivers and of course the Escort, Trica could not have been better. All went out of there way to be helpful and co-operative. Trica especially as I was not well for a couple of days and she really was concerned. The accommodation was really very nice. As we covered a lot of general sightseeing I was very impressed with this. All in all I was very happy with everything under your control. I look forward to hearing of any future tours that you may be running. Sorry it has taken so long for me to get to this.
Many thanks, Myra Godfrey
Good Morning Allan,
Its been two weeks now since our return from the US Quilts tour but I wanted to thank you again for your generosity in subsidising Myra & my airfares from Perth to Sydney & return. We had an absolutely wonderful time & once again we found all the arrangements, coaches, guides & accommodations top notch. We travelled with Trish on the Japan tour in 2008 and again she proved to be a very caring, thoughtful leader, just a really nice person. We arrived home exhausted after such a long trip from New York to Sydney & I wouldn't do that trip again but I would try to have an overnight break before attempting the US to Sydney leg. Its taken me about 10 days to get over the jet lag.Now my husband & I are planning on a trip to China (although I would like to do the one with Russia included) so we are looking forward to those departure dates being posted. It is my 60th birthday next year and we are hoping a couple of friends will come along with us too. Thanks again Allan.
All the Best Kind Regards, Vivien Mewett, Perth, WA
Just a short note to express our appreciations to you for arranging our tour of China & Japan. All went very well, accommodation, meals & sightseeing all excellent and we thought the tour was great value for the cost. Just the right week for the Cherry blossoms in Japan. You covered our requirements with the upmost efficiency. We will certainly be in touch with you to travel again with Asia Discovery Tours.
Thank you again for all your help, Neil & Gwen Larnach

We have just returned from the 15 Day Japan and Korea Double Indulgence Tour. The guides in both countries were very good and very helpful. I want to travel with ADT again and would like to have a brochure on the China tours if possible. Thanks for the excellent tour. Regards, Patrick Heaney
Hello Allan,
My husband and I have just completed a trip to Japan organized by your company and write to thank you for an experience we will never forget. We are seasoned travellers and although we are generally not tour people, this trip was so well organized and so well run that it made it very easy for us not to have to be concerned about how we would get from place to place, how we would communicate and what we would eat, particularly when we do not know the Japanese language. Monica Chow, our group leader was very informative, friendly and approachable with a good sense humour which was an added bonus. Her laid back style meant that no-one felt pressured but she was quick to offer support for some of the elderly tour participants who needed assistance. Somehow she even managed to get the weather right so we were able to see Mt Fuji in its entirety, something which only happens occasionally, we are led to believe. We were super lucky to have a diverse but travel appreciative group who all interacted well with each other. We will certainly be happy to recommend this trip to friends and family.
Kind regards, Valda and Roger Davey, South Australia
