Have just completed your Silk Road Train tour and had a wonderful experience. One comment though, is 3 meals a day of Chinese food was too much for Westerners. If a simple breakfast of bread, fruit, yoghurt etc. had been provided each day, we all would have appreciated that much better than a 12 course Chinese meal! We actually cancelled 2 of our meals and did something different. But it was a wonderfully-led and guided tour and everyone enjoyed it immensely!

Thank you and your company for giving me the opportunity to experience the Silk Road Explorer Tour. My partner and I have previously visited China, three times including Shanghai and Beijing. So we found Urumqi and Kashgar very interesting and much better than we expected. All hotels were of a good standard and satisfactory. All meals were good. All guides were excellent.Tours were good. Due to rain on one day, as an alternative, we visited the Urumqi Museum, which was excellent and has a good modern display of items relevant to the Silk Road. Thank you for your assistance with the lost Air China ticket (Shanghai-Sydney). Eventually we received the new ticket in Shanghai. Once again thank you for your services.

Hi Allan,

Just a short note to say that my husband and I and the rest of the family enjoyed our recent Wonder Tour to China. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was good. Thanks for everything and you never know we may book again in the not too distant future. My brother Mark, his wife Ratana and Ray and myself are pretty keen on doing the Silk Road next. You can keep us in mind. I would not do the same cities again mainly because it would not hold the same enchantment as when I first visited the Forbidden City, Great Wall, Temple of Heaven and the Warriors on this tour. It would not be the same seeing it a second time if you know what I mean. I was in awe with the history of the country and am very proud of my heritage!

Sorry we haven't let you know sooner but we had a wonderful trip to China. So glad we did the 26 Days ,we are still talking about it. Thank you for your tour, we are recommending it to all. Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time my father and I had on our trip to China, just got back on Sunday. Everything was great. All the guides spoke good English, the hotels were First Class and the restaurants were very good and varied. Loved the shows. Having 14 on the tour was an ideal number. Bonny our guide in Beijing was great and I would like you to tell her boss what a good job she did. I have recommend your agency to my friends and some of them want to go on the trip. Thanks again for all your help and I my be going to China again in the future.

I really enjoyed my trip. I was really glad I got the guide to pick me up in Beijing because when I went the new hotel in Beijing (which I found out through you email) they didn't have a booking for me at all and he was able to sort it out for me. Also I wish we had seen more of Shanghai, as the only thing we saw on the itinerary was The Bund, but I understand this was because of the late flight from Guilin. I think if they can get an earlier flight for future tourists it would be much better. Other than that it was a very well run tour and the guides were very knowledgable so I was very impressed and really enjoyed myself in China. I have recommended your tour to other people and am considering other trips hence that's the why the request for the new brochure.

We had a wonderful holiday in China. Everything was very well organised and the whole tour went smoothly. Our guide, Stephanie was a very pleasant lady,helpful and informative and in fact most of the local guides did a great job. It was a fantastic experience to see all the sights that we had heard about and to climb the Great Wall. Shanghai was a very exciting city and very clean as were all the cities. Hangzhou was very beautiful around the lake with the lovely gardens. Our Yangtze River cruise was so relaxing and the scenery stunning. To visit the Three Gorges dam sight was amazing. Another highlight was to visit the Hutong area, ride in the rickshaw and have a wonderful lunch with a local family. It would have been very unfortunate to have missed this experience. All the hotels were excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of dishes. The Tang Dynasty show and dinner was a most enjoyable night, we had great seats. The acrobatics show was also excellent.

We had a wonderful experience and thank you for the quality of the tour.
