 The tourist hotels we use are graded by star level and classified according to the international hotel standards. All 4 star hotels have modern, luxury standards similar to Australian 4 star hotels.
China: Our hotels have air-conditioned rooms with superior amenities, spacious bathrooms, entertainment and recreational centers, a mondern bussiness centre and other facilites. Our agency always uses city-centre 4 star hotels, wherever available.
Vietnam: All hotels are clean, comfortable and conveniently located near the city centre or close to local markets. Facilities include private western facilities, air-conditioning, satellite TV and money exchange facilities for Australian Dollars.
For overnight junk boat stays in Halong Bay, your accommodation is in a twin berth cabin with private shower and western toilet.
India: Hotels on our tours are generally "medium range" and can vary from a business class hotel in one city to a family run guesthouse in a smaller town. All hotels have private bathroom and generally air conditioning and/or a ceiling fan and bar / restaurant facilities. On many tours we spend a few nights in Heritage hotels such as old havelis, Maharajah's residences or ancient forts. These hotels are full of character, and staying at them invariably proves to be a highlight of the tour. Travellers should however be cautioned against expecting princely comfort! Please bear in mind that all levels of hotels can sometimes suffer from minor problems and technical difficulties.
At each hotel your Tour Leader will try to organise the rooming arrangements to suit everyone's requirements. If you are travelling as a couple please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of double beds.
