19 Day Scandinavia and Baltic States Tour 2017 - 2018

Day 01: Australia – Singapore – Helsinki
Depart Australia in the afternoon on Finn Air via Singapore and fly overnight.

Day 02: Arrival to Helsinki (D)
Arrive in Helsinki airport in the morning. Upon arrival, you will have an orientation city tour before transfer to hotel. Your tour in Helsinki includes "The Church of Rock" Temppeliaukio Church, Sibelius Monument, Mannerheimintie, Senate Square, Finlandie Hall, and Uspenski Cathedral. Accommodation at the hotel**** in Helsinki

Day 03, 06 Aug: Helsinki – Stockholm (luxury ferry) (B, D)
In the morning visit to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress will follow (ferry to Suomenlinna). Some free time on the market and in the afternoon board on the ship to Stockholm (sea view cabin). Enjoy a typical Scandinavian buffet dinner on board. From there, you will sail to Sweden. Accommodation will be on-board the Silja Line
Included: entrance fee to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress and ferry to Suomenlinna Island

Day 04: Stockholm (B, D)
In the morning, you will arrive at the Stockholm port. Enjoy city tour in Stockholm including City Hall (where Nobel's peace price ceremony is held), Vasa Museum, The Royal Palace and Drottingham Palace. Stay overnight in Stockholm. Accommodation at the hotel**** in Stockholm

Day 05: Stockholm – Karlstad – Oslo (530 km) (B, D)
After breakfast, you will travel across Sweden to Karlstad. There will be a short stop and then you will continue to Norway and in the evening, you will arrive at capital city Oslo. Accommodation is to be at the hotel**** in Oslo

Day 06: Oslo (B, D)
After breakfast the group will have sightseeing tour in Oslo including Vigeland Sculpture Park (Frogner Park), City Hall, Akershus Fortress, Royal Palace, Holmenkollen Ski jump area, Kon-tiki Museum.

Day 07: Oslo – Copenhagen (by luxury ferry) (B, D)
After breakfast some free morning in Oslo for leisure, shopping, etc. You will transfer to port and take a luxury ferry to Copenhagen (DFDS Scandinavian Seaways, sea view cabin). You will enjoy a buffet dinner on board. From there, you will sail to Denmark. Accommodation onboard the DFDS

Day 08: Copenhagen (B, D)
Your group will arrive at Copenhagen by DFDS in the morning. Today you will enjoy a city tour of Denmark capital including Statue of Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace, Round tower, City Hall Square and Carlsberg Brewery. Accommodation in the hotel**** in Copenhagen

Day 09: Copenhagen – Lubeck – Hamburg (360 km) (B, D)
After breakfast depart from Copenhagen to the south and you are transferred to Rodby port to have a short sailing to Puttgarden in Germany by ferry. After disembarkation, continue your journey to the biggest German port and second biggest city in Germany: Hamburg. En-route, you will visit the old city centre of Lubeck and arrive in Hamburg in the afternoon. You will then enjoy a city tour. Accommodation at the hotel**** in Hamburg

Day 10: Hamburg – Berlin (290 km) (B, D)
The morning time is free for leisure and shopping on the streets of Hamburg. In the afternoon, depart to Berlin. You will experience a panoramic tour in Berlin (Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church, Branderburg Gate, etc.)

Day 11: Berlin – Potsdam – Berlin (35km) (B, D)
After breakfast, you will head for Potsdam. Start your tours including Sanssouci Castle and park, Film museum, Old City Hall, Provincial Parliament, and The Cecilienhof Castle. Return to Berlin and proceed to Reichstag Building, Berlin Wall, Potsdam Platz, and German State Opera House and also visit Charlie Checkpoint museum and Alexander Platz. Enjoy German steak feast with beer dinner. Accommodation at the hotel**** in Berlin
Included will be the entrance fee to Charlie Checkpoint museum

Day 12: Berlin – Gdansk (490 km) (B, D)
Depart from Berlin to the east. Cross Poland and travel to the city of Gdansk. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the old hanseatic town centre: Long Street with gothic houses, City hall, Church of St. Mary. Accommodation at hotel**** in Gdansk

Day 13: Gdansk – Olsztyn – Augustow (400 km) (B, D)
After breakfast travel to Malbork and visit the biggest medieval castle in Poland. Then you will continue to the region of Mazuria and have a short panoramic stop at the city of Olsztyn. In the afternoon we continue to travel through very beautiful natural area with many lakes. Arrive at the city of Augustow. Traditional polish dinner at the restaurant and accommodation at the hotel**** in Augustow
Included: entrance fee to Malbork castle

Day 14: Augustow – Trakai – Vilnius (220 km) (B, D)
Travel to Lithuania and visit the famous castle in Trakai. Continue to the Vilnius – capital city of Lithuania. Sightseeing tour of the city: Gedeminas hill, Cathedral, St. Ann Church, House of poet Mickiewicz, Parliament, etc. Accommodation is to be at the hotel**** in Vilnius

Day 15: Vilnius – Siauliai – Riga (350 km) (B, D)
Your visit in the morning will be at the north of Vilnius to the open air museum at geographic centre of Europe. Continue to the northwest passing Siauliai and stop at famous Hill of Crosses (Kryziu Kalnis). Cross the border to Latvia and afternoon arrival at the capital city of Riga. Sightseeing tour: St. Peter Church, Parliament, Cat's house, castle, Freedom Monument, market place, etc. Accommodation will be at the hotel**** in Riga

Day 16: Riga – Parnu – Tallinn (310 km) (B, D)
In the morning, depart toward north. Cross the border to Estonia and stop at the seaside resort Parnu. Travel to capital of Estonia – Tallinn and in the afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour including Castle, Parliament, Church of Aleksander Nevski, medieval city centre, City Hall, etc. Accommodation will be at the hotel**** in Tallinn

Day 17: Tallinn – Helsinki (ferry crossing) (B, D)
After breakfast, you will have free time in the old centre of Tallinn. Afterwards you will take a ferry from Tallinn to Finland and in the afternoon, you will arrive in Helsinki – capital of Finland. Accommodation at hotel**** in Helsinki

Day 18: Helsinki – Hong Kong – Australia (B)
You are at leisure until your transfer to airport for your flight homeward to Australia via Hong Kong. You will fly overnight.

Day 19: Australia
You will arrive in Australia in the evening. Your unforgettable Scandinavia and Baltic States tour ends.

Single supplement: $1,130 (including also 2 nights in a single cabin on board the ships)

Tour price includes:
1. Air-ticket Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane – Singapore – Helsinki – Hong Kong – Sydney/ Melbourne/Brisbane;
2. Airport tax and fuel surcharge (currently $780, subject to change);
3. 14 night accommodation in nice 4 star hotels with breakfast;
4. 2 night accommodation in a sea view cabin on-board the luxury liners;
5. 16 dinners (mostly at hotel restaurants, some dinners could also be in the local restaurants, 2 buffet dinners on board the ships),
6. Transfers and transport by modern air conditioned bus according to the itinerary;
7. All highway tolls and road taxes and parking fees according to the itinerary;
8. All ferry tickets needed for the itinerary;
9. Sightseeing tours with entrance fees as mentioned in the itinerary;
10. English speaking guide/tour leader for complete duration of the trip.
